The application process for the Pionierpreis 2022 is reaching its final stage! Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s award ceremony has been postponed (until August 25, 2021), and the application process for the 2022 award began before the announcement of the 2021 winner. Innovative start-up companies are invited to submit their application through the website www.pionierpreis.ch by 27 September 2021. The prize money amounts to nearly 100,000 Swiss francs for the winner and nearly 10,000 Swiss francs for each of the two finalists. The award ceremony will take place on May 10, 2022.
The start-up Decentriq from Zurich uses data protection technology and artificial intelligence to create completely new opportunities for collaboration between companies. The start-up won over the ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark jury with its “clean room for data” and can look forward to CHF 100,000 in prize money.
The finalists for the ZKB Pionierpreis Technopark are Avelo, Decentriq and Stimit. The winning team will receive CHF 100,000 in funding at the award ceremony at Technopark Zurich on 7 May.
